Let’s Loop Arkansas! is a hearing loop initiative to spread the awareness across Arkansas about the importance of hearing loops for individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing.

The initiative was started by Samuel R. Atcherson, Ph.D. of UA Little Rock/UAMS Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology, Credonna Huchingson Miller, Au.D. and Lisa Byrd Richey, Au.D. both of Saline Audiology & Arkansas Loops, and Leila Lipham, M.S., OTR/L, CEAS, Occupational Therapist with Arkansas Department of Career Education at Arkansas Rehabilitation Services, Access & Accommodations.

It’s critical to those with hearing restrictions that we loop Arkansas!

If you are buying a hearing aid for the first time, be sure to ask that a manual telecoil be included. With a manual telecoil, you can expand the functionality of your hearing aid or cochlear implant.
